Re: Political humor....and truth!!
Listening to the mainstream media these last few days I've learned a few
things about the GOP's VP nominee but also had to learn a few things on my
own. To wit:
1. From the media I learned Sarah Palin's husband has a DUI conviction
from 22 years ago. On my own I learned that Ted Kennedy (hero of last week's tribute at the
DNC) was drunk while driving a car off a bridge in Chappaquiddick. That
same crash killed a young campaign volunteer with whom he was having an
affair. Oh, and that woman was pregnant with his child.
* Mr. Palin's (who is not running for office) DUI came a mere 4 years
after Barack Obama (who is running for president) stopped using cocaine
and marijuana (by his own admission in his autobiography).
Shocking - it's OK for the presidential candidate to use drugs or the
party patriarch to kill someone while driving drunk yet the husband of a
VP candidate should be demonized for something done 22 years ago.
2. From the media I learned that Sarah Palin's daughter is pregnant.
* On my own I learned that Joe Biden's (the other VP candidate) son was
paid a large amount of money as a consultant to credit card company MBNA.
That same company had business before Senator Joe Biden concerning
regulation of consumer credit practices. After the company paid a hefty
sum to Mr. Biden's son, he voted in favor of legislation to help that
company.
* That same son, Hunter, is also engaged in a legal investigation and suit
for defrauding a former business partner
Shocking - it's a crime for the republican VP candidate to have a child
who's pregnant even though it's irrelevant to how she performs her job.
It's ok, however, for the democrat VP candidate while a senator to vote in
favor of a company who paid his son over a quarter of a million dollars.
3. From the media I learned that Sarah Palin should be considered
'selfish' for agreeing to run for VP knowing about her daughter's
condition. Knowing th at her public role would bring extra scrutiny on the
family is selfish and she should have declined to protect her child
(actually heard this on ABC this weekend).
Strange - the same people who said Sarah is selfish for running for VP did
not seem to care about any impact on Chelsea when Bill Clinton had his
dalliance with Monica Lewinsky. That was a private, personal matter you
see.
4. From the media I have learned to be 'concerned' that Sarah Palin
probably won't be able to manage her family and do an effective job of
being VP at the same time.
Funny - I never heard anything about Hillary's ability to support Chelsea
while re-doing healthcare or any of the other feminist icons who say you
can balance work and family. They also never mention that Barack will
have to balance time with his children while meeting with heads of rogue
nations or how Joe Biden's kids don't even have a mom and will be fighting
for his time while he hosts white house coffee fundraisers and sells
nights in the Lincoln bedroom.
5. From the media I have learned that Sarah Palin is 'too inexperienced'
to be a heartbeat-away from the presidency.
* Apparently taking on corruption in your own party and running a state
that's the same size people-wise as Delaware (hint hint: that's where Joe
Biden is from) is not really experience.
* However, time spent as a 'community organizer' and less than 180 days in
the senate where you've authored no significant legislation is just the
type of 'change' we're looking for from the top of the ticket.
Funny - inexperience at the top of the ticket is a mantra for 'change' and
'hope' while strong practical everyday experience as the #2 is cause for
concern.
;
6. From the media I learned that Sarah Palin's husband once got a ticket
for fishing without a license.
* I haven't heard much about the fact that if he were still a practicing
attorney, the VP candidate Joe Biden would be dis-barred for plagiarism not
once but multiple times.
It's ok to break the rules if you're a democrat candidate but not Ok if
you are the spouse of a republican candidate.
7. From the media I learned that Sarah Palin doesn't know much about
Iraq ; in fact we wonder if she even knows where it is.
* Sarah's son volunteered into the US military and is now deployed in
Iraq . I guess that doesn't count.
Sarah has spent more time with troops in Iraq (as commander of the Alaska
National Guard she visited Iraq last year) than Obama has even while
running for president. In fact, when Sarah went to Iraq she spent time
with the troops. When Obama went there, he skipped a base visit to
instead go work out at the Ritz Carlton.
8. From the media I learned that Sarah Palin is a 'lightweight' and she
better be a 'quick study' to keep up with this team.
Funny, nobody is talking about how, after Barack Obama had 'visited 57
states' according to him he only had '5 more to go' or endless other
stupid gaffes that expose who he really is.
9. >From the media I have learned that (gasp!), Sarah Palin's husband was
once a registered member of a 3rd party that favored states' rights (man,
this is really bad stuff).
* That same media has been silent to the story that when Barack Obama
announced his first senate run, he did so in the home of William Ayers.
Mr. Ayers is an un-repentant terrorist convicted for bombing the pentagon.
This same Mr. Ayers said on 9/11 that he and his group did not do enough
to harm our military and he wished he had done more. During the same time
as that comment, he was serving on a board with Barack Obama. All notes
and information about their serving together is now locked up by the
corrupt Chicago machine and reporter access to those records are being
blocked by the Obama campaign.
If we've had any doubts about the bias of the media, it's pretty clear now
where they stand. Pass this on to some of your friends who are on the
fence and who get all their information from Katie Couric, Wolf Blitzer,
Tom Brokaw and the gang. This is egregious and corrupt. The only way to
stop it is to spread information using other outlets and make these guys
irrelevant.

Re: Political humor....and truth!!
This current financial crisis all started with the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977. Look it up. This was social engineering at its worst, brought to us by Jimmy Carter. And then, as if it weren't bad enough already, Bill Clinton in 1995 had to stick his liberal 2-cents into it as well by mandating that people who could not afford to buy a house, would be entitled to own one anyway. (look it up). Never mind that those persons were not able to re-pay their mortgage loans. Again, Social Engineering at its worst.
Because of the Clinton revisions, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were allowed to hold just 2.5% of capital to back investments, verses the standard 10% for banks. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were charged with promoting that lenders (that they were backing), should make money easier to come by, specifically so that under-qualified borrowers could buy houses that they simply could not afford. Fact: Barney Frank and Chris Dodd were two of the prominent politicians who forced the issue. For over 40 years, house prices pretty closely tracked inflation, until Barney & Chris and Bubba socially engineered things. Then money got cheap, and house prices spiked.
Like it or not, seeing the writing on the wall by 2003, FACT: George W. Bush tried to change it in 2003. (look it up). Bush's attempted imposition of oversight over Fannie & Freddie would have been timely considering when the actual bubble started to inflate. Even the New York Times (no friend to the Bush administration), wrote on Sept. 11, 2003, "The Bush administration today recommended the most significant regulatory overhaul in the housing finance industry since the savings and loan crisis a decade ago."
Guess who stopped the Bush plan…. Barney Frank and Chris Dodd. Oh, now there's a surprise. Barney Frank then had the go-nads to publically state: "the more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing." (that's a quote – you can look that up too). Today, 'ole Barney is quick to proclaim that the sky is falling, but he is equally quick to state that he was nowhere near the cause of the problem. Bull____!
But the Bush attempt to fix the problem was not the last. Another fact: (look it up) On May 25, 2006, John McCain stood up on the floor of the Senate and said: "For years I have been concerned about the regulatory structure that governs Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac--known as Government-sponsored entities or GSEs--and the sheer magnitude of these companies and the role they play in the housing market. OFHEO's report solidifies my view that the GSEs need to be reformed without delay. I join as a cosponsor of the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005, S. 190, to underscore my support for quick passage of GSE regulatory reform legislation. If Congress does not act, American taxpayers will continue to be exposed to the enormous risk that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac pose to the housing market, the overall financial system, and the economy as a whole. I urge my colleagues to support swift action on this GSE reform legislation. Like it or not, this guy had it nailed in 2006.
Ok, so if the Bush plan wasn't enough to alert the population that this time-bomb was coming, then John McCain's urging should have. But what happened in 2006? The Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005 was killed by the democrats.
I'm not making this stuff up, folks, I'm just reporting it. You can look all this stuff up.
So when we sit around and hold George Bush at a 28% approval rating, … and when we even have to pause to consider whether we should vote for John McCain or Barack Obama, I have to question our collective sanity. This shouldn't even be a horse race.
How long are we going to allow this politically correct bull____ to govern our lives? Make no mistake about it – we are where we are today because the bleeding hearts who want everything to be good and kind and fair and strong and proper basic and equal, have attempted to "shame" us into thinking that if we do not take part in the political correct fanfare, we are not among the enlightened thinkers. Well, listen, with a college degree, half of a masters, and all of a juris doctorate degree behind me, I'm about as "enlightened" as I need to be. But even so, I can still see deep, messy bulls___ when I see it, and I am not afraid to call it what it is. It stinks like hell, and I for one am not going to shut up about it any longer.

Re: Political humor....and truth!!
(This email is from Rosemary Dupras, whose daughter is on Govenor Palin's staff. Regardless of your political persuasion, these words are straight from Scripture and can be prayed over anyone or any situation. Rosanne and Rosemary are asking for your intercession for Governor Sarah Palin according to Psalm 27. I challenge you to read this entire chapter in your Bibles each day before you pray.)
Hi -
Sarah Palin is a born-again, Spirit-filled, godly person who said "yes" when asked recently to serve her country. Since then, Govenor Palin asked my daughter Rosanne, who is part of her staff in Anchorage , for prayer, and so over the weekend Rosanne and I put together the attached "Psalm for Sarah for 66." It's intercessory prayer using Psalm 27 for the 66 days between the date of Sarah's accepting McCain's offer and Election Day, November 4; it's not about who wins the election or about politics or your voting choice. We've sent it to a number of Christians across the county so would you also pray for Govenor Palin in this Esther-like* time of her life? You might also pass it along or copy any one who might pray. If this request is offensive to you, I apologize.
Rosemary Dupras (I challenge you to read the entire Book of Esther and see the comparisons. Note especially Esther 4:14 “And who knows whether you have been born into the kingdom for such a time as this?") Amazingly, Beth Moore has a new Bible study coming out in November on Esther. OUR SISTER SARAH PALIN'S ANTI-ELITIST CHARM
New York Post - September 20, 2008
I KNOW Sarah Palin, and so does my wife.
Neither of us ever actually met the governor of Alaska, but we grew up with her - in the small-town America despised by the leftwing elite.
One gal-pal classmate of my wife's has even traveled from New York's Finger Lakes to Alaska to hunt moose with her husband. (Got one, too.) And no, Ms. Streisand, she isn't a redneck missing half her teeth - she's a lawyer.
The sneering elites and their mediacrat fellow travelers just don't get it: How on earth could anyone vote for someone who didn't attend an Ivy League school? And having more than 1.7 children marks any woman as a rube. (If Palin had any taste, her teenage daughter would've had a quiet abortion in a discreet facility.)
And what kind of retro-Barbie would stay happily married to her high-school sweetheart? Ugh. She even kills animals and eats them. (The meat and fish served in the upscale bistros patronized by Obama supporters appears by magic - it didn't really come from living things. .)
Palin has that hick accent, too. And that busy-mom beehive 'do. Double ugh! Bet she hasn't even read Ian McEwan's latest novel and can't explain Frank Gehry's vision for a new architecture. She and her blue-collar (triple ugh!) husband don't even own a McMansion, let alone an inherited family compound on the Cape.
And she wants to be vice president?
The opinion-maker elites see Sarah Palin clearly every time they look up from another sneering article in The New Yorker: She's a country-bumpkin chumpette from a hick state with low latte availability. She's not one of them and never will be. That's the real disqualifier in this race.
Now let me tell you what those postmodern bigots with their multiple vacation homes and their disappointing trust-fund kids don't see:
Sarah Palin's one of us. She actually represents the American people.
When The New York Times, CNN, the NBC basket of basket cases and all the barking blog dogs insult Palin, they're insulting us. When they smear her, they're smearing every American who actually works for a living, who doesn't expect a handout, who doesn't have a full-time accountant to parse the family taxes, who believes in the Pledge of Allegiance and who thinks a church is more than just a tedious stop on daughter Emily's 100K wedding day.
Go ahead, faux feminists and Hollywood deep thinkers: Snicker at Sarah America's degree from the University of Idaho, but remember that most Americans didn't attend Harvard or Princeton as a legacy after daddy donated enough to buy his kid's way in.
Go ahead, campaign strategists: Mock Americans who go to church and actually pray. But you might want to run the Census numbers first.
And go right ahead: Dismiss all of us who remember how, on the first day of deer season, our high school classrooms were half empty (not a problem at Andover or Exeter).
That rube accent of Palin's? It's a howler. But she sounds a lot more like the rest of us than a Harvard man or a Smithie ever will.
Why does Sarah Palin energize all of us who don't belong to the gilded leftwing circle? Because she's us. We sat beside her in class. We hung out after school (might've even shared a backseat combat zone on prom night). And now she lives next door, raising her kids.
For the first time since Ronald Reagan, our last great president, we, the people, see a chance that one of us might have a voice in governing our country.
Speaking of Reagan (Eureka College, Illinois), every chief executive we've had since the Gipper snapped his final salute as president has had the imprimatur of an Ivy League university. And we've gone from bad to worse:
* George Herbert Walker Bush: Yale.
* William Jefferson Clinton: Georgetown, Oxford, Yale Law.
* George W. Bush: Yale and Harvard Business School.
The first lacked the sense to finish the job in Desert Storm; the second lacked the guts to go after al Qaeda when it was just a startup - and the third, well, let's just say he disappointed our low expectations.
Now we have the Ivy League elite's "he's not only like us but he's a minority and we're so wonderful to support him" candidate, Sen. Barack Obama <http://www.nypost.com/news/p/obama_barack/obama_barack.htm> (Columbia and Harvard Law).
Our country can't afford another one of these clowns. Harvard isn't the answer - Harvard's the problem.
So here's the message Palin is sending on behalf of the rest of us (the down-market masses Dems love at election time and ignore once the voting's done): The rule of the snobs is over. It's time to give one of us a chance to lead.
Sen. John McCain <http://www.nypost.com/news/p/mccain_john/mccain_john.htm> 's one of us, too. He raised hell at Annapolis (quadruple ugh: military!), and he'll raise the right kind of hell in Washington.
McCain's so dumb he really loves his country.
Sarah Palin's dumb that way, too. How terribly unfashionable.
Ralph Peters' latest book is "Looking for Trouble: Adventures in a Broken World."

Do You Know the Real Barack Obama?
Carol Platt Liebau
Monday, October 06, 2008
As the 2008 presidential campaign hurtles into its final days, John McCain confronts a choice: He can either start telling the public about the real Barack Obama, or he can lose. For much of his career, McCain has been a media darling. He could count on the press to carry his water as long as he was a “maverick” Republican, driving more conservative members of his party crazy. But as he surely knows by now, when it comes to Barack Obama and the press, all bets are off. In covering Obama, the press has adopted a “don’t ask/don’t tell” policy designed to boost the least-vetted, least-known candidate ever to seek the presidency. It isn’t by accident that the media has denied all less-than-glowing stories about Obama the kind of consistent, sustained coverage that allows them to penetrate public consciousness. If McCain is going to have a chance at winning, he must make sure that the public becomes thoroughly acquainted with the real Barack Obama – the most radical presidential nominee ever. And because the press evidently intends to abdicate its responsibility to acquaint voters with the less-popular parts of Obama’s record, he’ll have to rely on paid advertising to do it. For starters, McCain should consider running a series of “Did You Know” ads about Barack Obama. He should ask voters, “Did you know that: Barack Obama has multiple ties to those responsible for the present economic crisis?:
<BLOCKQUOTE dir=ltr style="MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px">Franklin Raines, the immediate past CEO of Fannie Mae – who has collected a $90 million golden parachute while driving Fannie into the ground – has advised Obama on housing issues. Jim Johnson, yet another former Fannie Mae CEO, resigned from Obama’s vice presidential search team when it was revealed he had received a sweetheart home mortgage deal. Despite serving in the Senate for only four years, Obama himself has been the second-largest recipient of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac largesse in the entire Congress, ahead even of former presidential candidate John Kerry, who’s spent two decades in the Senate? Obama’s long-time political ally, radical group ACORN, played a key role in pressuring banks to offer loans to those who were unlikely to be able to pay them back. ACORN has taken credit for pressuring banks to accept undocumented income as a basis for offering loans, for offering loans without using credit scores, and for making 100% financed loans available to low-income people.
</BLOCKQUOTE>There is more, of course. Do voters know:
<BLOCKQUOTE dir=ltr style="MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px">That, in apparent defiance of federal election law, the Obama campaign refuses to identify individual donors who have provided almost half the funds for his campaign, including obvious fakes like “Mr. Good Will” and “Mr. Doodad Pro”? And that 11,500 donations to his campaign – totaling almost $34 million – may have come from overseas? Or that two Palestinians living in a Hamas-controlled refugee camp spent $31,300 in Obama’s online store? Who are all these people, and why won’t the Obama campaign obey the law and identify them? That Jeremiah Wright wasn’t Obama’s first radical mentor? As a young man in Hawaii, Obama had a quasi-filial relationship with radical Frank Marshall Davis – an avowed member of the Communist Party of the USA. In fact, in his memoirs, Obama concedes that he attended “socialist conferences” and encountered Marxist literature. (Now imagine the outcry if a Republican presidential candidate had such ties to a Nazi). That the People's Weekly World – the official newspaper of the Communist Party of the USA – has rhapsodized about Obama’s presidential campaign, calling it a "transformative candidacy that would advance progressive politics for the long term"? (Think about how the press would react if a fascist newspaper heaped such praise on McCain.) That Obama has routinely tried to intimidate his critics into silence? His political organization spearheaded a massive campaign against a Chicago radio show that invited one of his critics to appear – even after being asked (and refusing) to send a representative to balance the program, hosted by a non-partisan University of Chicago psychology professor. Worse, his campaign sought to chill free speech by establishing a “truth squad” of Missouri prosecutors and sheriffs, which threatened a “vigorous response” to any ad presenting information about Obama that they deemed to be “inaccurate.” And there are other examples. That even as America struggles to “bail out” our own struggling economy, Obama backs a global bailout? His Global Poverty Initiative would assess $2500 per taxpayer, according to Investor’s Business Daily, to fund a global war on poverty administered by the UN and its agencies. That despite touting his academic credentials as a rationale for initiating a campaign for president just two years after leaving the Illinois state legislature, Obama refuses to release either his college or his law school transcripts – just as he sought to keep records of his working relationship with former terrorist Bill Ayers on The Annenberg Challenge (a left-wing educational foundation) safely under wraps? What is it that he doesn’t want voters to know?
</BLOCKQUOTE>Repeatedly, we’ve heard the media denounce the “rumors” about Barack Obama that are, supposedly, circulated on the internet exclusively by the bigoted and the ignorant. But Americans sense that there is more to Barack Obama than they’ve been told. Having witnessed the media’s own bias and favoritism, they’ve come to suspect – reasonably – that even if any of the rumors were true, the press might choose to conceal them until the election is safely over. What’s more, they wonder: What else is the press not telling us? Certainly, it would be terribly wrong for John McCain to traffic in rumors. But he doesn’t need to. The truth is more than enough. There are facts that the American people deserve to know – and which the press isn’t telling them. By filling in the gaps that the media has left unmentioned, John McCain isn’t just doing himself a service. He’s doing journalists’ job for them, and allowing Americans to make an informed decision when they head to the polls next month.

Re: Political humor....and truth!!
I had an interesting conversation with a lady of Hispanic origin last week. She told me that she planned to come down to St. Mary's Hospital and get a job in Admissions (where I work). When I pointed out that we didn't have any openings she advised me that
"soon" current employees will have to be fired so they can hire bi-lingual employees. According to this lady, the Spanish speaking people of the US are going to demand that all public facilities - like hospitals, courthouses, etc. - be staffed by people who read,
speak and comprehend Spanish.
We hear about the silent majority but I think we are going to have to speak up or find ourselves a conquered country. That would be an interesting historical note - greatest land in the world conquered by Mexico without ever firing a shot! Think about it.
Write to your government leaders now!
1. Pass the law now pending to make English the ONLY official language of the United States of America.
2. Require citizenship to be eligible for social services in the United States.
3. No free services for illegal immigrants.
4. Vote in English only, and Drivers test in English only.
Do we really want to wind up like Canada where EVERYTHING has to be written in 2 languages?

Re: Political humor....and truth!!
| By Bill Brown of the Billy Graham Team : Obama Bill Brown, is a highly respected retired member of the Billy Graham team so, I take his assessment of Obama very seriously and for that reason accept his challenge to pass this on. I share his concern about the 'rock star' image Obama has and watch with growing concern at the celebrity status the media has foisted upon him. Here is hope this email informs you in a wise way. The Obama Tidal Wave We are witnessing a political phenomenon with Barack Obama o f rare magnitude. His speeches have inspired millions and yet most of his followers have no idea of what he stands for except platitudes of 'Change' or that he says he will be a 'Uniter'. The power of speech from a charismatic person truly can be a powerful thing. Certainly Billy Graham had charisma. Both his manner of speech and particularly the content changed millions. On the extreme other hand, the charisma of Adolph Hitler, too, inspired millions and the results were catastrophic. Barack Obama certainly is no Hitler or a Billy Graham, but for many Americans riding on the Obama Tidal Wave it is just like a surfer who might be ecstatic and euphoric while riding a tidal wave, but the reality of the ride is what happens when it hits shore. Just Some of What Defines Barack Obama: He voted for partial birth abortion. He voted no on notifying parents of minors who get out-of-state abortions. Supports affirmative action in Colleges and Government (quotas). In 2001 he questioned harsh penalties for drug dealing as being too severe. Says he will deal with street level drug dealing as minimum wage affair. Ad mitted his use of marijuana and cocaine in high school and in college. His religious convictions are very murky. He is willing to meet with Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, Kim Jung Il and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Has said that one of his first goals after being elected would be to have a conference with all Muslim nations. Why? Opposed the Patriot Act. First bill he signed that was ever passed was campaign finance reform. Voted to allow law suits against gun manufacturers. Supports universal health-care. Voted yes on providing habeas corpus for Guantanamo detainees. Supports granting driver's licenses to illegal immigrants. Supports extending welfare to illegal immigrants. Voted yes on comprehensive immigration reform. Voted yes on allowing illegal aliens to participate in Social Security. Wants to make the minimum wage a 'living wage'. Voted with Democratic Party 96 percent of 251 votes. (241 votes Demo, 10 votes Republican) Is a big believer in the separation of church and state. Opposed to any efforts to Privatize Social Security and instead supports increasing the amount of tax paid into Soc. Sec. Tax Increase. He voted No on repealing the Alternative Minimum Tax which now hits middle income brackets. Tax Increase. He voted No on repealing the 'Death' Tax. Tax Increase. He wants to raise the Capital Gains Tax. Tax Increase. Has repeatedly said the surge in Iraq has not succeeded...which is not true. He is ranked as the most liberal Senator in the Senate today and that takes some doing. If your political choices are consistent with Barack Obama's and you think that his positions will bring America together or make it a better place, then you will probably enjoy the ride and not forward this Email. If you are like most Americans that after examining what he stands for, are truly not i n line with his record, it would be prudent to get off the wave or better yet, never get on, before it comes on shore and undermines the very foundations of this great Country. We have limited time to save America or the Supreme Court as we know it. Inaction is action. If you agree this is important, pass it on. The mainstream media will not do it for you! This is Veeeeery interesting Now isn't this something to think about? If Barack Obama would apply for a job with the FBI or with the Secret Service, he would be disqualified because of his past association with William Ayers, a known terrorist. If he is elected President he would not qualify to be his own body guard! |

"DRILL BABY DRILL"
Ever heard of the Bakken Formation?

The U.S. Geological Service issued a report in April ('08) that only scientists and oilmen knew was coming, but man was it big. It was a revised report (hadn't been updated since '95) on how much oil was in this area of the western 2/3 of North Dakota; western South Dakota; and extreme eastern Montana ... check THIS out:
The Bakken is the largest domestic oil discovery since Alaska's Prudhoe Bay, and has the potential to eliminate all American dependence on foreign oil. The Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates it at 503 billion barrels. Even if just 10% of the oil is recoverable... at $107 a barrel, we're looking at a resource base worth more than $5.3 trillion.
'When I first briefed legislators on this, you could practically see their jaws hit the floor. They had no idea.' says Terry Johnson, the Montana Legislature's financial analyst.
'This sizable find is now the highest-producing onshore oil field found in the past 56 years,' reports The Pittsburgh Post Gazette. It's a f ormation known as theWilliston Basin, but is more commonly referred to as the 'Bakken.' And it stretches from Northern Montana, through North Dakota and into Canada. For years, U.S.oil exploration has been considered a dead end. Even the 'Big Oil' companies gave up searching for major oil wells decades ago. However, a recent technological breakthrough has opened up the Bakken's massive reserves... and we now have access of up to 500 billion barrels. And because this is light, sweet oil, those billions of barrels will cost Americans just $16 PER BARREL!
That's enough crude to fully fuel the American economy for 41 years straight.
2. [And if THAT didn't throw you on the floor, then this next one should - because it's from TWO YEARS AGO, people!]
U.S.Oil Discovery- Largest Reserve in the World!
Stansberry Report Online - 4/20/2006 Hidden 1,000 feet beneath the surface of the Rocky Mountains lies the largest untapped oil reserve in the world is more than 2 TRILLION barrels. On August 8, 2005 President Bush
mandated its extraction.
They reported this stunning news: We have more oil inside our borders, than all the other proven reserves on earth. Here are the official estimates:
-8-times as much oil as Saudi Arabia
-18-times as much oil a s Iraq
-21-times as much oil as Kuwait
-22-times as much oil as Iran
-500 -times as much oil as Yemen- and it's all right here in the
Western United States.
HOW can this BE? HOW can we NOT BE extracting this!? Because the democrats, environmentalists and left wing republicans have blocked all efforts to help Americabecome independent of foreign oil.
James Bartis, lead researcher with the study says we've got more oil in this very compact area than the entire Middle East -more than 2 TRILLION barrels. Untapped. That's more than all the proven oil reserves of crude oil in the world today, reports The Denver Post.

Don't think 'OPEC' will drop its price - even with this find? Think again! It's all about the competitive marketplace, - it has to.

[Got your attention/ire up yet? Hope so! Now, while you're thinking about it ... and hopefully P.O'd, do this:
3. Take 10 minutes and compose an e-mail; fax or good old-fashioned letter to all your friends and associates. Alert them to the fact that democrats and "liberal" republicans have been and will continue to obstruct all plans to make America independent of foreign oil. The only solution is to vote all democrats and Marxist oriented republicans out of office.
If you don't take a little time to do this, then you should stifle yourself the next time you want to complain about gas prices .. because by doing NOTHING, you've forfeited your right to complain.
