Bible Prophecy....Facts...Truth...Interesting Info

Probability.....it's interesting to look at math probability equations when looking at Christ's life and the prophecies he fulfilled in His first coming. Dr. David Reagan says he has found over 108 specific prophecies that Christ fulfilled in His first coming. I have heard even higher numbers and will be presenting those facts in subsequent posts. By assigning even conservative probabilities to each of these prophecies, the following numbers have been calculated. This is considering the chance that only 7 of these prophecies could have been fulfilled randomly or accidentally by one person. Remember, this is only the calculation of 7....as you add more then the numbers go up significantly. Also remember that Christ fulfilled every prophecy predicted about his first coming down to the letter....every one...literally. Therefore, and likewise, He will predict every prophecy of His second coming literally and just as predicted.

The odds of Him fulfilling just 7 of these prophecies were calculated to be 10 to the 17th power or 1 in 100 quadrillion. To illustrate these odds....here is the following scenario. If you take the entire State of Texas and fill it knee deep in silver dollars. Then fly over in an airplane and drop one silver dollar with a red dot painted on it. Then take some bulldozers and mix the whole thing up really good. After that, take a person and blindfold them. Let them take as long as they want blindfolded to wade in the coins and then reach down and pick up just one. The odds of them picking the one silver dollar with the red spot is one in 10 to the 17th power. Remember also...this is only calculating 7 of the prophecies fulfilled.

The fullfillment of Bible prophecy by Christ down to the letter is the ultimate proof that He is who He said He is. He is the Son of God and our Savior.

One of the major reasons we can be assured that the Bible is the true and undefiled word of God is the fulfillment of Bible prophecy. Our God is not batting good...he's batting 100%. You want to know who God is? Your God and my God is one that can write history from the beginning predicting the full course of human events centuries and millenium before the events come to pass, and then make every single prophecy come to pass with 100% accuracy. The Bible is the only "holy book" from any religion that not only predicts the future but predicts it accurately. Study Bible prophecy...which is 1/3 of the Bible. You will be amazed and the more you study God's word, the more He reveals himself to you. It's an amazing journey...and one I wish I had undertaken much earlier in my life.

Did you know that the Bible was 1/3 prophetic when it was being written? Every prophecy that was written about Christ's first coming was fulfilled down to the letter literally. The test of a true prophet of God in ancient times was this... Their prophecies had to come true with 100% accuracy or they were considered to be false prophets, and they were stoned. Today there are many false prophets proclaiming doom, gloom, and many other end of the world type scenarios. There are over 2500 prophecies of Christ's second coming and they have all been fulfilled with the exception of the ones that will occur during the seven year Tribulation period described in Revelation and Daniel. Since the prophecies of His first coming were literally fulfilled, we can be assured that all the prophecies of Christ's second coming will be literally fulfilled. Many people want to spiritualize scripture and believe that the prophetic books of the Bible will not be literally fulfilled. The danger with that, is that when you spiritualize scripture, you can make it say anything you want it to say based on your own interpretation. God's word is His word. The amazing 100% accuracy of scripture helps to assure us that the Holy Bible is the true and inspired word of God.
